Weekly Groceries Distribution:
Everyone is welcome to come in once a week for supplemental groceries which is usually enough for approximately 5-6 meals.
If it is an emergency, you can come in once a week, for up to four weeks.
If you need food for longer than 4 weeks, we ask that you come in for an interview to become a client. Once a client, you will need to re-new your application once a year. To become a client, please come in on Monday or Tuesday, and bring with you these requirements:
Picture identification for yourself.
Picture identification for your spouse.
Birth certificates or MediCal Card for each child living with you.
Proof of your address, i.e. an envelope or bill which shows your name and address.
Rent or mortgage receipt.
Last pay stub for you and your spouse.
Immunization Records for you and your children living with you, if you have records.
If you are receiving welfare (AFDC, WIC, SSI), bring papers showing the amount receive.
If you receive disability payments or unemployment checks, please bring papers showing dates and amount received.

Each week, a typical give-away menu might include:
- Chicken, ground turkey, canned tuna, hot dogs, etc.
- Milk and sometimes cheese and/or yogurt
- Beans: canned or dry
- Fresh vegetables and fruit
- Canned vegetables and fruit
- Rice or pasta
- Juice frequently
- Frozen food items occasionally
In addition to providing basic food items, Fallbrook Food Pantry also provides a number of services:
MONTHLY FRESH PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION Every last Wednesday of each month from 8:30am to 10am at First Baptist Church parking lot, corner of Alvarado Road and N. Pico Avenue, 1 block from Fallbrook Library. Fresh vegetables and fruits are distributed in collaboration with the San Diego Food Bank to the everyone in the community who shows up.
US GOVERNMENT COMMODITIES Commodities are handed out usually during the 3rd week of each month. Seniors ages 60 and older can pick up at 1:30 on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
INFORMATION BOOTH AT FALLBROOK HEALTH & FITNESS FAIR Every year we host an information table at the Health & Fitness Fair to reach out to the community. The Health Fair is usually held on a Saturday in October, from 9:00am-1:00pm at La Paloma Elementary School, 300 Heald Lane.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM The Adopt-a-family is an annual event to provide a special Christmas for qualifying families.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR CLIENT CHILDREN
Santa visits with some local children at the Fallbrook Pantry while handing out toys during the Christmas season. Thank you, Fallbrook Union High School’s Associated Student Body (ASB) for holding a toy drive every year.
