Welcome to the Bread & Butter Club!

Where your monthly-recurring donations positively impacts our community by helping the Fallbrook Food Pantry feed more people--giving them access to healthy food items and fresh produce, every week from our local farmers and grocery store partners!

Just know that we put your dollars to work! Ninety-four percent of your contribution goes directly back to our programs and community in-need, so for every dollar you donate $0.94 is utilized to directly impact food insecure individuals!

Here's how YOU can make a difference:
1. For $100/month YOUR donation will buy a pallet of FRESH apples, serving 500 households.
2. For $150/month YOUR donation will buy a pallet of FRESH greens, serving 500 households.
3. For $200/month YOUR donation will buy a pallet of 1-gallon of milk, serving 250 households .
4.  For $250/month YOUR donation will buy a pallet of 1-pound of ground beef, serving 1000 households.

Meet Hector
Hector is a 92-year-old military vet, who served in the Korean War. He is a client at the Pantry and has been receiving home deliveries each week for the past seven years, after experiencing multiple strokes that have kept him home bound and unable to care for himself. Hector is also a type 1 diabetic and has a special diet he must adhere to daily, in order to prevent any diabetic episodes, such as shock or insulin reactions. Our drivers makes certain, each week before his food leaves our facility, that Hector has enough sustainable items that meet his daily needs; brown rice, fresh fruits and vegetables, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, low sodium proteins (meat, fish, chicken) and occasionally, he might have his caregiver call us up to see if we have any sugar free treats…the days we get any in…we always save them for him!

Meet Lila
Meet Lila and her three children, Max, Jacob and Sarah. Lila has been a client of the Fallbrook Food Pantry for nearly five years and has been taking care of her ill husband, who has not been able to work since his diagnosis of cancer in 2016.  Lila has spent the past four years caring for him, which has become a fulltime commitment, while also taking care of her children. Once her husband’s cancer became debilitating three years ago, Lila was forced to quit her job and be his fulltime caregiver.   Along with needing food from the Pantry, Lila had to turn to our Friendly Village for additional and unexpected support, because she didn't qualify for many government assisted programs.  Sadly, Lila’s husband passed away last year and she has struggled keeping her children focused on what’s now important.  The one thing Lila has appreciated most, is the love, compassion and support she has always received from the Pantry.
This donation program also aids in our daily food distribution (market) and operations, which allows us to keep our refrigeration units (8 of them) running 24/7, making sure our healthy food selections always stays fresh for our clients.
